Details, details, details...

Our shows are really quite simple: we go up on stage, and then describe the 'game' we're going to play. We then ask for an audience suggestion to inspire that game, and then we make you laugh!

Most of our games are theatrical exercises that some of you may have played if you've been in plays. For example, one of our games is '1/3/5'. One actor on stage can only say one word at a time, another three and the other five. Sounds simple? Believe me it isn't.
Another of our games is 'sing-it'. We act out a scene, as per usual, and at any point one of the performers can call out 'sing it'. When they do that, we ask for an audience suggestion for a style, and then sing about whatever's going on in that style.

We've got hundreds of games like this, but sometimes we like to do some 'long form' improv. What's exciting about this is that we have no set format or gimmick - we just ask for a stimulus and then make a series of inter-connecting scenes based around whatever comes into our heads as a result of what you've said. These can last anywhere from five minutes to fifty minutes, and absolutely anything can happen while we're doing this - that's why they're so exciting!

When we ask for a suggestion we're not after anything funny. In fact, some of the best suggestions are fairly 'boring'. All we want is a word - we'll suggest things ("a non-geographical location, the best present you were ever given, your favourite animal"), but we really don't care what we get as long as it's a word. Below are some suggestions I just thought up to give an idea of what we're looking for. Remember, we never force anyone from the audience to say or do anything. We'll never embarrass you. But please don't embarrass us - do you really want to see a fifteen minute long form about an STD? We wouldn't want to!
